All Pur CRF-950Z filters are produced under the ISO9001 and 14000 standards, and undergo strict quality control. Each filter is produced through 34 production processes, 400PSI pressure test, 10,000 water hammer tests, and 6 independent tests, ensuring the highest quality.

Please note that the Pur filter cannot reduce TDS (Total Dissolved Solids), as it is designed to filter out harmful substances while keeping beneficial minerals such as potassium and calcium. Additionally, this filter is designed for municipal tap cold water, and it is not recommended for well water unless the feed water has been through a pre-filtration system, as large particles in well water can easily clog the filter and shorten its lifespan.

Before using the new filter, it should be flushed with cold water for at least 10 seconds to remove any harmless charcoal residuals or fines. Replacing the filter every two months or 40 gallons is essential, as the filter's lifespan depends on your local water quality and frequency of use. Failing to replace the filter can result in reduced water flow or the presence of sediment and rust in the water.
